The ETHNOCINECA is Austrias filmfest for documentary and ethnographic film, which takesplace from the 4th to the 8th of May 2015, at theVotivKino in Vienna. As such it is dedicated toundogmatic and critical perspectives on the plurality of human lifeworlds. We are looking for films that dare to overcome imagined boundaries between individuals, cultures and disciplines and seek to make accessible what is labeled as the “unkown”, “strange” and “foreign”

Films can be submitted for the Main Program or the ETHNOCINECA Student Shorts Award (ESSA). Submission criteria and detailed information can be found on the submission form.
